Summer Enrichment – July 19-23, 2010 The School of Religion is sponsoring its Annual Summer Enrichment Program on July 19 through 23, 2010 for children ages Preschool (4), K-5. Make time this summer to invite Christ into your heart during this High Seas Expedition and invite fun into your life aboard the BRINY BLUE! Youth Ministry – MAGIC WATERS – July 24, 2010 Our Teen Youth Ministry Group is planning a trip to MAGIC WATERS on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A bus will be provided to transport everyone from St. Julian’s to the Magic Waters Park. Feast of St. Peter Julian Eymard – July 31 to August 1, 2010 – ALL MASSES The Feast of our patron saint, St. Peter Julian Eymard, is on August 2, 2010. During the prior weekend, the Education Commission will again be sponsoring a celebration of our Parish Patron Saint with various prayer cards, statuettes and other items from the generosity of the Congregation for the Blessed Sacrament (an organization dedicated to the memory and good works of St. Peter Julian Eymard). Our St. Julian Eymard Youth Group will be assisting in the distribution of these gifts. Please do not miss attending Mass at our parish this weekend and be sure to take a memento of our Patron Saint home with you! CHOIR REHEARSALS - Nine Lessons & Carols and Christmas Midnight Mass Thursday nights beginning August 5, 2010 The St. Julian Eymard Choir is already planning its program for the “Nine Lessons & Carols” advent celebration on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. as well as the Christmas Midnight Mass, Friday, December 24, 2010 at 11:30 p.m. If you have a gift for singing and would like to participate in one or both of these events, please contact the choir director, Paul Van Lysebettens at 847-985-8212 or via e-mail. The members of House Church liked it so much they periodically hold House Church gatherings throughout the year. Meetings will be held in the homes of some of our parishioners to meet and discuss Scripture and the everyday events that bring those scriptures alive in our lives! Why not come see it for yourself? The RCIA group meets year-round on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. (right after the 9:45 a.m. Mass) in the School of Religion.
